The most recent challenges related to the ecological transition of production systems have assigned a role of renewed importance to the disciplines of agricultural sciences as regards their contribution to the development of strategies for the mitigation of environmental impacts and the Promotion of a more sustainable and circular economy.

Educational objectives

The Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Agricultural Systems of the University of Brescia wants to train specialists with a broad cultural knowledge, scientific and professional in innovative technologies to support the sustainability of plant and animal production and in the protection and management of the territory and resources.

Curriculum

The Course in Sustainable Agricultural Systems aims to offer the acquisition of:

• Solid training in the three most important sectors: herbaceous crops, tree crops, animal production.

• Wide and concrete knowledge of the tools to support the ecological transition agro-livestock systems.

• Knowledge of the tools needed for land planning and the application of multifunctional agriculture.
